Submitting (4) Pictures of YOUR Venue Space:
Hey there - we’re excited about your show!
When we haven’t worked in a venue space before, we always request to see pictures in advance.
These are specific photos that will help us work together to identify the best locations for our video cameras and crew. The result is cleaner coverage, better camera angles, and higher-quality footage of your event.
Here’s what we’ll need -
PICTURE #1) FROM STAGE TO SEATS:
DETAILS: This angle helps us see where your tech booth is located, if there are any elevated sections to your space, location of any aisleways, and how much space there is between your front row and the stage.
INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Make sure house lights are up. (2) Stand at center stage and point the camera toward back of house. (3) Frame up the entire width of the space in 1 picture, if possible. If not, take 1 picture each of the left, center, and right sections of your house/spectator seating.
PICTURE #2) FROM SEATS TO STAGE:
DETAILS: This angle helps us get the POV of what our cameras will see looking at the stage, as well as the location of any aisleways or niches where cameras might be placed throughout the house.
INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Make sure house lights are up. (2) Stand at center back of house and point the camera toward center stage. (3) Frame up the entire width of the space in 1 picture, if possible. If not, take 1 picture each of the left, center, and right sections of your house/spectator seating.
PICTURE #3) SIDE ANGLE:
DETAILS: This angle helps us identify the presence and depth of any aisleways, cut-outs, or niches that are parallel to the stage where cameras might be placed.
INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Make sure house lights are up. (2) Stand at one side of house, turn & point the camera to capture a side-angle view of the house seating. (3) If there are multiple horizontal aisleways - like at center house & behind the last row of seats - do this at each aisleway.
PICTURE #4) SOUND BOARD: BRAND / MODEL / OUTPUTS:
DETAILS: This picture helps us research your exact soundboard and identity the best output for recording a clean audio signal of the music & microphones that will be in-use during your show.
INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Identify the exact sound board or system that will be used to project your show audio to the house during your event. (2) Frame up your picture to include the entire system, making sure the following are visible: Brand name, model number, and all “OUTPUTS” (will be labelled “OUTPUTS” not INPUTS) (3) Break this up into multiple pictures if needed. You may need a picture of the front, back, and sides of the sound board, depending on where all the “OUTPUTS” are located.
